DSM Web Geeks Cancelled Tonight

1. Aw shoot, and it was going to be my first. See you next month, I guess.

2. But we could have had a party with milk and cookies 🙁

   Anyone interested in just meeting for the after-meeting meeting in a pub somewhere, post here… Raccoon River at 7, for instance?

3. Brian, I like that idea, I can probably make it about 7:30 or 8. Anyone else?

4. I guess if everyone saw the cancellation yesterday, they may not look here again today… have you heard from anyone else?

5. No, I’m thinking it’s a no go.

6. Ah well, should have though to suggest an informal get-together yesterday when I saw the notice. Maybe just as well since there’s some snow headed in tonight.

   Maybe this needs its own post, but I think a regular unofficial place to get together after the meetings wouldn’t be such a bad idea. That would let us keep people involved when there’s a cancellation, or when they can’t make the meeting but are free after. There’s the bonus of being overheard in public, and occasionally getting some people to join who wouldn’t have found you otherwise.

   Now you just need a little table stand with the dsmwebgeeks logo on it so we can stake out a table 🙂
